Motorcycle track days and open sessions at Circuit d'Ancenis

The Circuit d'Ancenis, in Ancenis in the Pays de la Loire, is the Roger Gaillard track of the ASK Ancenis karting club: 1,170 m long and 7 m wide. At 7 m, you ride two abreast, no more. The track is primarily designed for karts; motorcycles ride there on days put together by third-party clubs, also open to non-licence holders, with the club hiring the circuit out to the FFM and other organisations. A beginner rider laps between 0'58" and 1'10". An experienced rider laps between 0'44" and 0'50". You are 1 km from the A11 motorway exit and 2 min from Ancenis town centre. The parc fermé holds nearly 250 riders, with a 100 m² mechanics' walkway overlooking the circuit. A protective mat is compulsory in the pits. Staying overnight on site is possible: an area for motorhomes and tents has toilets and showers. The paddock closes on Friday evening at 20:00, with no security guard. For food, a refreshment bar with a covered terrace looks onto the track from the paddock, and a 120-seat canteen completes the set-up. A medical room accommodates the doctor and the first-aid teams. The circuit's website sets neither a noise limit nor equipment requirements for motorcycles: these points are a matter for the club hiring the track that day.
