Brands Hatch, Indy loop, at West Kingsdown in Kent (England): 1.944 km (1.208 mi) and 7 corners, 2 left-handers and 5 right-handers, run clockwise. Brabham Straight, the pit straight, plunges into Paddock Hill Bend, an off-camber descent that the operator compares to a rollercoaster. Then come the climb of Hailwoods Hill up to the Druids Bend hairpin, followed by Graham Hill Bend, Cooper Straight, Surtees, McLaren, Clearways and Clark Curve. The 3.916 km Grand Prix configuration has its own page. An experienced rider laps in between 1'50" and 2'00", an expert rider between 1'42" and 1'50": over less than 2 km, the 7 corners come round quickly. Access via the A20, near junction 3 (Swanley) of the M25; Swanley railway station. Plenty of garages fitted with electricity, mostly free and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Showers on site. No fuel within the grounds, two petrol stations very close by. The Grand Prix Terrace serves hot and cold takeaway food on track days. Free camping on site after the previous event, access before 21:00. Medical centre near the Kentagon restaurant. According to the circuit regulations, the Indy runs at 102 dB(A) static during the day and 101 dB(A) in the evening, sound meter 0.5 m from the exhaust at 45°, rpm depending on engine capacity, plus 92 dB(A) drive-by measured continuously at 20 m. You need to be 18 years old or over, hold a full unrestricted motorcycle licence or an ACU licence, and wear a 1-piece or zipped 2-piece leather suit (textile not allowed), an ACU-approved full-face helmet, leather boots and gloves, a back protector and a front brake lever guard.
