About this circuit

The Eurospeedway Lausitz, now the DEKRA Lausitzring, in Klettwitz, in Brandenburg (Germany), offers a 4.5 km Grand-Prix-Strecke with 12 variable-radius corners, 7 left-handers and 5 right-handers. A 3.442 km variant exists. You ride anticlockwise. The longest straight measures 648 m; the straights are 12 to 24 m wide, enough room to overtake without getting in each other's way. The usual camber is 2.5%, 10% at most, and the gradients do not exceed 4.5%. The road course is surrounded by a 3.256 km tri-oval, with corners banked at 5.7°, and a 5.8 km oval. An experienced rider laps in between 2'08" and 2'20", an expert rider between 1'59" and 2'08". The site also serves as an industrial test centre for DEKRA. The circuit lies between Berlin, Dresden and Leipzig, directly on the A13, with its own motorway exit, no. 15 "Klettwitz", then 3 km of signposting. Dresden airport is 55 km away, Berlin Brandenburg 111 km. The pit building has 39 individual garage boxes of 67.5 m², heatable, with three-phase power socket, compressed air, WLAN, and for some of them a WC and shower. 21,000 hard-standing parking spaces await outside. The site's own petrol station handles refuelling, with 4 rapid charging points of up to 450 kW. The circuit restaurant overlooks the track; for the Club Days, an optional catering package adds snacks and drinks in the garage boxes and lunch at the restaurant. The operator publishes neither a motorcycle-specific noise limit in dB nor kit requirements: each day applies its own regulations. The price and the noise limit applied are shown on each track day's page.
