About this circuit
The Géoparc is in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, in the Grand Est: a 2.5 km asphalt circuit, FFSA- and FFM-homologated, 10 to 12 m wide. The layout also comes in a 2.1 km variant or as two 1.3 km tracks. A footbridge spans the track and the whole layout can be seen from the pits: your companions don't miss a single lap. The site brings together other tracks: a 5 ha 4x4 track, a separate 600 m karting track and a 400 m refrigerated ice ring. An experienced rider laps between 1'20" and 1'28", an expert between 1'14" and 1'20". The operator offers riding courses all year round. You are 45 min from Nancy, 1 h 15 min from Strasbourg and Metz, 2 h from Luxembourg; motorways and Vosges passes are 5 min away. The paddock is covered, 3,000 m² for 40 vehicles; a closed garage holds 8 vehicles and the briefing rooms look onto the circuit. On the 1st floor, a lounge bar sells drinks and sweets; meals are not included in the courses, restaurants are a few minutes away in Saint-Dié. For the operator's motorcycle courses, the limit is 95 dB at 60% of revs, with a standard or road-homologated exhaust and baffle in place. A motorcycle licence is compulsory and the motorcycle must have third-party insurance. Tyre warmers and slick tyres are prohibited. Equipment: suit or motorcycle jacket and trousers in leather or Kevlar textile, boots, homologated helmet and gloves; open-face helmets are refused. Courses are limited to 20 participants. The price and the noise limit applied are shown on each track day's page.

Where to stay near Géoparc?
Géoparc is located in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges. Most riders book accommodation nearby the night before, to be fresh for the morning briefing and avoid riding in before track time.
Do I need a licence or insurance to ride at Géoparc?
It depends on each day at Géoparc: some organisers require a licence or supporting document, others only ask for a motorcycle driving licence and a waiver signed at the briefing. The exact condition is on each day's page. In all cases, your usual motorcycle insurance does not cover the track: a dedicated day (or annual) policy is strongly advised, and some organisers require it.
