About this circuit
The Gotland Ring is located in Kappelshamn, on the island of Gotland, Sweden, 50 km north of Visby: its northern loop, the Northern Loop, measures 3.2 km. Opened in 2003, it has FIA-standard barriers. The Southern Loop adds 4.1 km, and the two combined form the 7.3 km Grand Prix layout. On the 3.2 km of the Northern Loop, an experienced rider laps in between 1'36" and 1'45", an expert rider between 1'29" and 1'36". On a first visit, a Safety Tour is mandatory before riding the Southern Loop or the Grand Prix. First-aid-trained staff and a medical car are present on motorcycle days. You arrive via route 148, then at Lärbro towards Kappelshamn. The island is reached by ferry from the mainland, around 3 h. The Paddock Club, 480 m² with a terrace, is included in the track day pass; it serves fika and snacks, with catering to order for groups. Electricity is a paid option. Free parking for participants, 20 km/h in the paddock and the pit lane, no-smoking site. The track opens from 10:00 to 17:00, from April to November. On 2-day events, leaving your vehicle on site overnight is possible, and a garage can be hired. The noise limit announced is 95 dB(A) on the page for the 7.3 km Grand Prix track day, with no method or rpm specified; the pages for the Northern and Southern loops give none, and motorcycles follow SVEMO rules. Helmet mandatory, non-flammable clothing, liability waiver to sign on site, environmental mat mandatory in the pit lane. The price and the noise limit applied are shown on each track day's page.
