About this circuit

The Salzburgring is at Plainfeld, in the Land of Salzburg (Austria): 4.255 km and 12 corners, between 648.3 and 670.6 m altitude. A fast layout in the hills, with 3.8% climb and 1.8% descent at most. The Bridgestone Schikane is the slowest and narrowest point; the Nockstein-Kehre, slightly banked, is taken with a very late apex. The long uphill Gegengerade is a succession of curves linked flat out, the ground for slipstreaming battles. The Fahrerlagerkurve is the fastest point, and the Reiner S, 3 corners dedicated to Alexander Reiner in 2021, brings you back onto the start straight. An experienced rider laps in 2'07" to 2'19", an expert rider in 1'58" to 2'07". From the A10, exit 16 Hallein, then the L107 via Ebenau for around 19.5 km, the Nesselgrabenstraße under the viaduct and the Jochen-Rindt-Straße to the end. From the A1, exit 274 Thalgau/Hof, L117 then B158 towards Gaißau/Salzburgring, and the same L107. The paddock lines up 31 garage boxes, i.e. 15 doubles; each single box has 3 sockets at 220 V (16 A), one 400 V 16 A socket, one 400 V 32 A socket, water, network and 2 fire extinguishers. Fahrerlager 1 offers over 20,000 m² of free space, Fahrerlager 3 around 6,500 m². Sanitary facilities with showers, a high-pressure washer and compressed air on site. The petrol station dispenses 100 octane, 98 and Racing Diesel. The Gasthaus am Ring offers 145 seats inside and a covered terrace of around 150 seats, plus a 50-seat lounge in the tower. The race doctor's office is in the race control tower. The price and the noise limit applied are shown on each track day's page.
