About this circuit
Sepang International Circuit, at Sepang in the state of Selangor (Malaysia), stretches 5.543 km and 15 corners, 10 right-handers and 5 left-handers, linked by 8 straights, two of them taken at over 300 km/h. The track is 16 to 22 m wide and is run clockwise, from Turn 1 to Turn 15; it splits into two layouts, the 2.8 km north and the 2.6 km south. An experienced rider laps in 2'47" to 3'02", an expert rider in 2'35" to 2'47". The operator publishes neither an open motorcycle track day nor a noise limit: motorcycles ride there through track hire. The circuit is open all year round. 14 km from KLIA airport, the circuit offers 33 air-conditioned garage boxes of 8 m by 24 m, a 100 m² Medical Room at the South Paddock and unlimited parking. Restaurant and shop at the Welcome Centre. The official briefing requires an indemnity form, a full-face helmet and 1- or 2-piece leathers; pit lane limited to 60 km/h, exit towards Turn 1, entry at Turn 15. The price and the noise limit applied are shown on each track day's page.
