About this circuit

Snetterton Circuit, near Norwich in Norfolk, England, stretches 4.828 km (3 mi) and 12 corners on its 300 Circuit, 5 left-handers and 7 right-handers. The layout, redesigned by Jonathan Palmer in 2011, is built for speed: the Bentley straight is half a mile long, followed by fast curves, two chicanes, the Bombhole and the long Coram curve, with large run-off areas. The corners bear the names of racers: Agostini, Hamilton, Wilson. The 200 Circuit and the 100 Circuit, named after their length in miles, also host motorcycle track days. An experienced rider laps in 1'33" to 1'41", an expert rider in 1'26" to 1'33". The medical centre is to the left of the Tyrrell's restaurant, with a medical car and paramedic during track sessions. The circuit is on the A11, 1 hr 30 min from London; from the south, M11 junction 9. Stations at Eccles Road, Attleborough and Thetford, then taxi. A small share of the garages can be booked online, the rest are free, first come first served. Free camping on site. Fuel sold at 9:00, 12:45, 14:15 and 16:45. Circuit restaurant open for all track sessions, contactless payment. The noise limit is twofold: 102 dB(A) static, day and evening alike, sound meter 0.5 m from the exhaust at 45°, rpm according to engine capacity, plus 92 dB(A) on drive-by measured at 20 m continuously. Full motorcycle licence and 18 years old, or an ACU licence; one-piece or zipped two-piece leathers, textile banned, ACU full-face helmet, leather boots and gloves, back protector; front brake lever guard, luggage removed, camera fixed to the motorcycle, lap timers banned. Check-in, waiver and briefing are done online before the day. The price and the noise limit applied are shown on each track day's page.
