Motorcycle track days and open sessions at Circuit de la Ferté-Gaucher

The Circuit de la Ferté-Gaucher, in La Ferté-Gaucher in Île-de-France, measures 3.6 km with 14 corners. Circuits Automobiles LFG operates it on the aerodrome. Frantz Schreiner designed 3 tracks: a technical 1.6 km with 9 corners including hairpins and chicanes, a fast 2 km, and the 3.6 km which links the 2 by a constant-radius curve. Motorcycles ride on the 3.6 km, anticlockwise, on a track 12 to 20 m wide, with a straight of around 500 m. A beginner rider laps between 2'16" and 2'35". An experienced rider laps between 1'53" and 2'04". Allow 80 km from Paris: A4, N104, N4 towards Nancy, D204 at Courtacon then D215 towards the aerodrome; entrance at the "Pôle de loisirs mécaniques" sign. Paddock of 2,900 m², flat area of 6,000 m², pit garages that can be fitted out, of 260 and 510 m². On motorcycle track days, opening at 7:00. Overnight stay on site the day before is possible, as an option, from 19:00 on the flat area, gate closed at 23:00, with changing rooms, showers, toilets and electricity. Welcome coffee offered; a caterer provides breakfast, meals and a bar. Medical cover for motorcycle track sessions: 3 ambulance crew, an ambulance and a first-aid room. According to the circuit regulations, motorcycle track sessions go through the sound level meter with a 95 dB maximum; the house rules set 100 dB static at 75% of revs, with continuous dynamic monitoring at the trackside. A or A2 licence, or CASM from the age of 16; licence, registration document and insurance to be presented, briefing compulsory. Equipment: one-piece or zip-together leather suit, full-face helmet, leather gloves covering the wrist, mid-calf boots, back protector available to hire on site.
