About this circuit
The Pannonia-Ring is at Ostffyasszonyfa, near Sárvár, in Vas county (Hungary): 4.74 km and 18 corners, 11 right-handers and 7 left-handers, run clockwise. The track is 11 to 13 m wide, at 175 m altitude. The start straight is 700 m, enough to build up speed before the first braking point. The corners are simply numbered T1 to T18 and the gravel run-off areas are wide. A 1,160 m kart track with 17 corners, right next door, is used for supermoto, minibikes and motorcycle training courses. An experienced rider laps in 2'22" to 2'35", an expert rider in 2'12" to 2'22". Allow a little over 2 hrs from Vienna or Graz. From Vienna, the A2 then the A3 lead to the Klingenbach/Sopron border, then road 84 heads to Sárvár: around 136 km, or 1 hr 56 min, with a motorway vignette to plan for on each side of the border. Trailers easily find space. The circuit has its own petrol station, but no electric charging point. The Paddock Restaurant seats 400, complemented by a small buffet, and an HS Moto shop sells parts and tyres on site. On the medical side, the medical centre is near the main entrance, with 2 medicalised ambulances, 1 intervention vehicle and a heliport. Speed in the pit lane is limited to 60 km/h. The track is monitored by 24 marshal posts plus race control, with digital flags and lap timing. The price and the noise limit applied are shown on each track day's page.
