About this circuit
Circuit Zandvoort is at Zandvoort, in North Holland (Netherlands), in the middle of the dunes: 4.32 km and 14 corners, FIA Grade 1 homologation. Two corners are banked: the Hugenholtzbocht (turn 3, progressive banking up to 18°, i.e. 32%) and the Arie Luyendykbocht (turn 14, between 15 and 18°). The Tarzanbocht is a 180° hairpin at the end of the straight; the Hunserug is one of the high points of the layout and the Scheivlak (turns 6 and 7) its fastest section. A 1999 chicane, to the right of the Slotemakerbocht, is kept for motorcycle training sessions. An experienced rider laps in 2'09" to 2'21", an expert rider in 2'00" to 2'09". Zandvoort NS station is a 10 min walk away (direct trains from Amsterdam, Haarlem and The Hague); buses 80 and 81 stop in front of the main entrance. By car, A9 exit Haarlem-Zuid then N205 and N201, or exit Haarlem (A200) then N200. Parking A, the visitor car park, is paid at most events and often free on days without spectators. The circuit has 28 pitboxes; Paddocks 1 and 2 are hired with the track, available all year round, but the operating permit forbids any night-time activity. For food: Mickey's Bar, Bernie's Bar & Kitchen above the pit lane, Paddock Bar and Bernie's Beach Club; team catering goes through Circuit Zandvoort Hospitality. Paddock rules: jerrycans stay in a spill tray (110% of the volume), refuelling is done on a tarpaulin with 2 fire extinguishers, used oil goes into the dedicated containers, washing vehicles is forbidden, you drive at walking pace and the box is returned clean, with no stickers. The price and the noise limit applied are shown on each track day's page.
