About this circuit
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is located at Stavelot, in the province of Liège, in Wallonia (Belgium): 7.004 km and 19 corners. The lap opens with La Source, a U-shaped hairpin and the slowest corner of the layout, then plunges towards Eau Rouge and the Raidillon, a fast uphill curve at 17%. Then come the Kemmel straight, Les Combes, Bruxelles, the Double gauche du Pouhon taken at high speed at the bottom of a descent, Campus, the Paul Frère curve, Blanchimont and the chicane that replaced the old bus stop in 2007. The altitude ranges from 373 m to 470 m: the relief is present all the way round. The track was resurfaced in winter 2021-2022 for its FIA and FIM homologations. An experienced rider laps in 3'20" to 3'38", an expert rider in 3'05" to 3'20". With more than 7 km per lap, the number of passes per session remains low. Four entrances serve the site: Source, Ster, Blanchimont and Combes; for track sessions, the GPS address is Route du Fagnoû 1-4 in Stavelot, which leads to the free car parks P1 and P2. Liège is 50 km away, Brussels 140 km, Luxembourg 153 km and Lille 256 km. The official map provides camping areas P2 and P3 on the Ster side. The Pit Bar-resto, on the roof of the Pit Building, opens on every day of track activity; the bar L'Arbre qui Tue is in the paddocks and snack bars are added on race days. On the medical side: medical centres on the Blanchimont side, in the paddock and at Ster, a post in the pit lane and a heliport.
