Mugello, Misano, Imola: riding the Italian circuits
Italy lines up tracks every rider knows by name: Mugello in Tuscany, Misano on the Adriatic, Imola in Emilia-Romagna, Monza, Vallelunga near Rome. Days open to amateurs are mostly run by Italian organisations, with a few dates from French and European organisers at Mugello and Misano, usually in spring and autumn.
For a rider coming from France or Switzerland, northern Italy is a day's drive away: Cremona, Varano, Tazio Nuvolari and Franciacorta, less famous than the big names, are also more accessible in price and level. Each circuit card above shows the number of upcoming days; the dates themselves, with each organiser's entry conditions and prices, are in the track day calendar.
